Why this blog? Basically, I like listening to music. Alot. I have my staples, but there’s nothing better than unearthing a gem of an album and obsessing over the body of work and the musicians that created it. I spend the majority of my day in places where it’s easy to listen to tunes – my car, my cube, the gym, my house. I figure why not try and listen to a new album a day and tell the world about it?
Best case scenario? I find that needle-in-a-haystack, diamond-in-the-rough. Worst case scenario? I don’t like the album. Sounds low risk, high reward to me. Plus, it will give me something to look forward to every day – never a bad thing.
